Trump, Modi and Tughlaq

Dualism of The Man and The Hero

If we forget Time and Space and value all politicians on the same scale, we find that politicians are the archetypes that are devoid of idealism. Whenever their first prototype was made, the clod was configured with certain properties, and the same clod is being used universally. So the visual difference is the art of the potter. Pottery is not ‘art for art sake’ but is ‘art with a purpose'. Howsoever beautiful pot one may make, the purpose it would serve, dominates its existence. Another important quality of the pot is its ‘easy destructibility’. A thing created after hours of toil may be destroyed within seconds. A handful of dust. The ultimate end of everything that exists.

Both genders can serve the purpose of power houses. It is an individual's choice where he wants to draw his power from. When the majority of individuals have same choice, the power sources would become symbols of that culture, which were later divided into the boundaries of nations. If a nation has reached the greatness by following a certain path, it is not easy to change the trend of the stream. We want a change, not from masculinity to femininity, but from one kind of masculinity to another kind of masculinity. Democracy is respecting the will of the people. A true democracy should also ban any kind of propaganda to influence that will of the people. That would save taxpayers money and large scale corruption in politics. It is still too early to presume that kind of maturity from any culture.

The choices that life offers are either ‘meek’ or ‘aggressive’. The bible says, “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth’ (Matthew 5:5). But meek needs to be led by some strong and aggressive leader. That is how Tughlaq, Trump and Modi become rulers. To shape the destiny of nations and people. All of them are benevolent, permissive and visionary, but they suffer from the “dualism of the man and the hero”. When it comes to US, the leader could shape the destiny of our planet, or maybe universe and the entire humanity.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 5.1.1 says “That is the absolute, this is the absolute; from the absolute, the absolute becomes manifest; when the absolute is added to or taken away from the absolute, the absolute remains.”The word absolute can be replaced by “Whole”, “Completeness”, “Limitless”, “Full”, “Infinite” or “Perfect”. From the existentialist point of view, this is “Void”, “Nothingness”, “Meaninglessness” and “Vacuum”. Every great leadership, of which “Hamlet” is an Archetype example, arises from this void. The present ‘Being’ of humanity is meaningful, only in the light of the future towards which we project ourselves. Man has already lost himself in order to ‘to be’ something unachievable. The futility of his passion has filled him with a void. Only a visionary leadership can make constructive use of this Void.

True blessings always come in disguise. If all Asians are sacked from US, it will be an act of great kindness on coming generations. The Asian diasporas are not so materialistic as their western counterparts are. They are sentimental type of people and are confused with the value system. All Diaspora literature indicates that Asians living anywhere except their native country suffer from ‘identity crisis’. The time has come when all should find a place in the country of their origin, be they are Jews, Muslims or Christians. The process of migration was 'need of the hour' at that time. People were looking for opportunities. Now every land has an opportunity, so to encroachment on others land, others means of productions, others culture and others opportunity is no more required. The object of enriching one’s own self and enriching the host country is over. Moreover, it would free them from guilt of deserting their kith and kin. They would no more be required to imitate a culture, that is making them ridiculous not only in the eyes of the host country, but also in the eyes of their own fellow countrymen.

Though an idealistic politician is a misnomer, but even if we have one, the redundant bureaucracy is the biggest hurdle in the implementations of schemes of social welfare. They have become a bunch of pessimistic sadist, and their overhauling is beyond the capacity of any politician, howsoever strong he may be.

Is US ready for woman President

                     Fourth Wave Feminism
fourth wave, us president election

I sincerely think that we are over with Third Wave of feminism.

Without struggle for what we have achieved so far, we can head for Fourth Wave.

Yes, we will have as many waves as possible to make our point. Since we are done with the issues of suffrage, social equality, sexual and reproductive rights, (pageants are no more cattle parades) and are comfortable with Neo-Marxist-psycho-analytically amalgamated version of eco-feminist Woman who is proud of being tagged as Bitch(a strong, angry, uncompromising woman who is not interested in pleasing a man) or a Slut (fun-loving, rebel, proud of assets). I think these two words should be used for both the genders since they define an attitude which is not gender based and is not uncommon in men also. A man can also be proudly assigned all those tags which he has so far kept reserved for women. I mean, why a man cannot be called a slut, especially if he is behaving like one. (Keeps many sexual partners and is unkempt).

Now when we enter into Fourth Wave we need a paradigm shift. So far women organizations were demanding rights or whatever from male dominated institutions. Suppose the women are Head of all the institutions and everywhere they are on the other side of the table questioning hegemony of patriarchal  rules.  All constitutions, law, rules and regulations are rewritten scraping any trace of bigotry against fair gender. In that case, suppose, rape would be redefined and punished in a way that blood of any male would freeze even with the thought of committing a rape (like public castration).

Nations need to be governed by women. In past Golda Meir, Indira Gandhi, Suu Kyi, Benazir Bhutto, Sirimavo Bhandarnaike (all Eastern countries' leaders) have done well, but presently except Angela Merkel (Germany) no other major western country is led by a woman leader. Democracy in most of the Western Countries is not mature enough to be led by a woman.

In 2007 when Russian President Vladimir Putin took his giant dog Labrador when he went for a conference with Germany's Angela Merkel. Having attacked by a dog in the year 1995 Merkel was obviously scared by proximity of an offensive looking dog. An apology has come a bit too late. CNN on 12 January 2016 explained that he didn't mean to scare while Merkel said he did this to prove that he is a man. He is afraid of his own weakness. US will have to ensure that their female Head of Nation is not scared of any animal. Thankfully cockroach is not a pet animal.

In the year 2006, during G8 summit Bush had rubbed Merkel up the wrong way(The Guardian). Many countries might be waiting for their chance when a female takes over as President of US.

Irving Wallace should have written 'The Woman' instead of 'The Man'.

Old Order Changeth Yielding Place to New

                                                   Socialism in Capitalism

“The old order changeth yielding place to new

And God fulfills himself in many ways

Lest one good custom should corrupt the world

Alfred Tennyson

Joseph Schumpeter in his book 'Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy' (1942) blame Capitalism for incessant revival of economic structure where Old one is replaced by New one incessantly. Some economist finds  his theory of 'Creative Destruction' as a major breakthrough that solves many riddles of the economic trends of the World.

The article published in Washington Post republished in The Hindu (17 Feb 2015) has raised an issue if all destruction is creative or only certain destructions are creative and the rest are just destructive.

There cannot be two opinions that New obliterates Old, either for good or for bad. We can rely on the poetics whenever an ethical question is raised. The intuitive dictum of a poet goes beyond the realm of super specialists viz. Scientist and Economist who are too focused and thus overlook what is obvious. Albert Tennyson says that place is yielded by old for new, thus new is invited and welcomed by old to replace it, so that it may now rest in peace.

The God who is nature or some cosmic power is combination of Light, Energy and Action, which destroys everything that gets redundant and replaces it by New that would sustain to the incessant growth and expansion of universe eventuating Evolution. The Evolution is not restricted to Biological Evolution but is evident in every walk of life, be it Economic, Social or Political.

The example quoted about internet related disruption is rudimentary since it is surprising that why the whole world which is so tiny in comparison to our Galaxy is still not connected by single Wi-Fi system which should be randomly and freely available to all the citizens of Planet Earth. Not only one, but there should be many such systems working simultaneously to avoid any disruption.

The labour productivity should decline with the advancement of technologies. The Drone has just come, and it has already started playing wonders. In recent future it is going to revolutionize whole transport and delivery system. This can be seen as a healthy trend in Economics and the surplus labour can be trained to perform other more productive activities.

Defence consumes a major chunk of World Wealth. Scientist work hard to find precise and effective methods to destroy human civilization. In the process of experiments and trials they have have already started killing Biosphere on Earth. How this destruction is going to enhance creation is yet to be determined.

The catastrophe of the doomsday would prove the prediction of Albert Einstein correct

“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.” ~Albert Einstein

THE ORIGIN OF VIOLENCE

                                 From Ferguson to Peshawar

Terrorism, books based on terrorism,Literary essay by Vipin Behari Goyal

The whole world is in the grip of unprecedented violence. May be this is high time we resolve to spend  the year 2015 without any incidence of violence. The fire of violence that spreads from Ferguson to Peshawar has reached to the zenith of Shame for the Mankind.

Mahatma Gandhi was an epitome of nonviolence. The world and so called advance  civilization of the sense-fettered earth-bound mankind saw their mundane benefits in not appreciating the virtues of non-violence. Gandhi did not get any Nobel Peace Prize though he was the greatest champion of  Peace and non-violence. The violent people saw great opportunity in this and they not only shot him dead, but also replaced Gods with Guns in temples, mosque and churches. The violence got its shelter in the arms of religion.

Violence is not the irrational killing of a non white youth or innocent children, but is also hurting feelings of anyone by thought, words or action.

Gandhi went one step ahead and said "Poverty is also violence". So those who become rich by exploiting poor are the most violent type of people.

In the list of 183 countries published by IMF Afghanistan stands at rank  166 with GDP 678 USD per capita against  9 Rank of USA with 53001 USD GDP per capita. Not that it needs a Statistician to draw the conclusion. If some Economies are 1000 times stronger, obliviously they have overlooked some of their fundamental duties.

The racial prejudices are hampering the growth of certain races. In US $33,321 is the  annual median income of black households in 2012, compared with the nation at $51,017 and 27.2% is the poverty rate in 2012 for blacks, while nationally it was 15.0 percent.

Two data to understand two incidents. To own the responsibility. To face the situation squarely. To shift the paradigm. To plan the future of mankind with an open mind. To get rid off blame, counter blame game. Who would do it. Politicians. No, Never, their vested interest is not in the suffering of the mankind, but in popularity that would enhance their grip on their vote bank.

There would be no use of scaling the problem as a politician, sociologist or economist. The solution lies in understanding the problem  Philosophically and Psychologically as a human being. All solutions are very apparent provided we come over our prejudices and see the emergence of  the New Planet Earth.

In the novel The Possessed by Fyodor Dostoyevsky the revolutionary chooses Nikolai as the main target since he thinks that Nikolai has no sympathy for mankind.  The author was inspired real life revolutionary group "People's Vengeance".

In The Penal Colony by Kafka the "condemned man" is found guilty without any procedure or trial. It could be same as Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp or "The Torture Garden" of Octave Mirbeau. May be the person who tends to be violence are having the same opinion as Jean Paul Sartre's  "L'enfer, c'est les autres" or "Hell is other people". The "Terrorist" by John Updike remains one of the despised books by Americans, though the author has wisely woven the plot to understand the problem through Ahmad Ashmawy Mulloy.

Paulo Coelho on his blog has expressed his views in dubious language about fighting injustice.
